Indian Ruins When construction began the remains of a Comechingones Indian settlement was discovered on the site selected for the Clubhouse and one cabaña. We at La Quinta stopped cleaning the land until the entire area was inspected by local archaeologists. The entire project was then moved north to preserve the ruins. You can observe the ruins from the upper terrace or by walking on gravel pathways through the area. The remains of a stone wall and three stone ceremonial spirals are visible and have become part of La Quinta's logo.
